around Ireland
A select few of the many, many fabulous pubs around Ireland. My own favourites.

Dick
Macs, Dingle |
|
A
famous place in a one of the most enjoyable spots in Ireland, Dingle.
Indeed, there are about 18 pubs in this small seaside town. This pub
counts movie stars amongst its punters. The decor is unlike anything
you've ever seen. Well, it looks like an old shop. A very old shop.
Unique. On a recent visit, it seems to have gone off the boil though. |
Matt
the Thrashers, Limerick |
|
A
popular spot for a bite to eat on your way down south. Fine, inexpensive
food and nice beer will set you on your way. |
The
Quays, Galway |
|
This
used to be Galway's top pub and then they got careless and greedy.
Sad really. This was some pub. |
King's
Head, Galway |
|
Before
they did it up recently, this was nice pub with nice beer and lo and
behold, they managed to keep it (nearly) the same. |
Counihan's,
Cork City |
|
An
old favourite down in the rebel city. A fine, solid unpretentious
pub in the city centre. |
Morrisey's,
Abbeyleix |
|
Another
pub which was formally a shop. A unique experience and a fine pub
down in the midlands. |
More, oh
many more, will be added in time.
