Cafe en Seine
Dawson Street

Recently renovated, Cafe en Seine is now twice, even three times the size it was. And the one thing that strikes you is: MONEY! And lots of it. Not only with what they spent doing the place up but the type of people who come here. We're talking serious Euros here.

If the Bailey is where the beautiful people go, then this is where the "Look-at-me-aren't-I-gorgeous?" people go. If you don't have a mobile and a beemer then stay away.

  RATING COMMENTS
Buzz A lively spot certainly especially at weekends - expect to queue to get in after nine! Lots of hair gel and brand name clothes labels on display and that's just the men.
Decor Very stylish and classical now with lots of plants, glass and marble. It's high ceiling gives plenty of light and means it doesn't get too smokey. Bit dark on one side though.
Scoring Depending on the type of bloke you are, your job, your car and your wallet will dictate your scoring ability in here. Looks too are also a tad important.
Babes + Hunks No doubt about it. Some hot looking women in this place. Quite a few models and celebrities pop in for their drink fix and of course to be seen.
Beer Standards Actually not bad and also have a few imported beers for the more discerning drinker.
And the toilets? Nice, roomy and clean. Have to go downstairs though.
Overall Should be a five but too many posers bring it down to a four. A great place to people watch and well worth a visit.
