Copperface
Jacks
Harcourt
Street, 250 yards up from St.Stephen's Green
Only opened
in the past two years, this pub has taken advantage of the licencing laws
to open late. Now they just open even later it seems. Of course, being
owned by a former policeman and located next door to the police detectives
HQ doesn't do any harm either. It's on two floors with a mini disco/dancefloor
downstairs and serves drink until late. Quite late....

Can't
really be faulted in that department. Gets a good mix of people mostly
23+. Can get a bit too packed for my liking especially downstairs,
where it can get too warm and sweaty. |

I'll
give you one guess. Hint? C'mon. |

Now
we're talking. Downstairs when the (pricey) drink is flowing and the
music is playing.... |

Not
bad. Plenty of good looking women around. Though CFJ is inclined to
attract more than it's fair share of people from the country.... |

Not
great and too bloody expensive. |
And
the toilets? |
|
Small
and can get very busy very quickly. |
Overall |
|
Lively
without a doubt but a few niggly things (high priced beer and a sardine-like
feeling) knock it back a bit. |
