Hairy Lemon
Johnson Place, behind the St.Stephen's Green Shopping Centre and across from Break for the Border.

Deceptively large pub with a ground floor and an upstairs area. Nice place. Handy for meeting people before heading on somewhere else or staying for the night. Only opened in the past few years.

  RATING COMMENTS
Buzz Has a 'local' feel to it. Mixed crowd of young 20 something's up to 30+. Last time I was here, the music was way to loud even for a young turk like me. People want to talk in pubs.
Decor The pub designer obviously wanted to show character and must have raided every auction house, attic, shed and farmyard in Ireland. Definitely 'Oirish'.
Scoring Limited. People are usually here to meet and chat not to score.
Babes + Hunks Merely ok. Certainly not a fashion parade. Lads can certainly talk without getting distracted.
Beer Standards Varies. Sometimes its good, sometimes it's crap.
And the toilets? Bit of a squeeze, but are ok.
Overall A nice place for a first date during the week or to meet your friends in town at the weekend. Just keep the bloody music down.
