How long can you drink for in Dublin?

New laws allow for longer pub hours - effective now!

- Closing time midweek is 11.30am with half hour drinking up time.
- Closing time from Thursday to Sunday (that is Saturday night) is 12.30am with half hour drinking up time.
- No difference between summer and winter opening hours
- Extended opening hours on eve of bank holidays when it falls on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Every pub shuts on Good Friday and Christmas Day.

Most nightclubs with a full bar will serve drink until about 2.30am.
