Down Under (formerly Major Tom's)
King Street. Just off Grafton Street down from Sinnott's beside the St.Stephen's Green Shopping Centre.

Formerly Major Tom's, this had undergone a much needed revamp and now has an Aussie/Kiwi theme. I'll try and review it soon. This rating is for Major Tom's.

  RATING COMMENTS
Buzz Usually hopping from 10.30 at the weekends. Being free in until 2.30am was a great attraction. Loud music and everybody eying each other up. Not for the shy and retiring. Not as good as it used to be.
Decor Loads of rock 'n roll memorabilia which are kind of in the background and hard to see because of the lack of light
Scoring If there are women there then your chances are good. However, far too many other men in Dublin have the same idea so at times, it can feel like a gay bar. But the potential is there.
Babes + Hunks Varies. Plenty of girlies some who have style and others who, well, shouldn't be let out on their own. Tight tops and short skirts are common. Lots to look at usually.
Beer Standards Slop. Big time.
And the toilets? Bit small for the crowd, but don't smell.
Overall An out and out pick up place. Don't expect to have in-depth conversations with anyone. Looks are fairly important especially for the blokes
