The Odeon
Harcourt Street (top)

Another of Dublin's new arrivals. This was formerly a railway station and is housed in a fine old building. Also serves late which helps and is attracting many of Dublin's bright (and beautiful) young things.

  RATING COMMENTS
Buzz four beers Has an air of sophistication about it. Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing is up to you. Look out for the hugging and air kissing. Now, strike that pose.
Decor four beers Big open area in front of the large bar (well, it was a railway station). Plenty of room to stroll around and take in the atmosphere.
Scoring three beers Bit tricky but not impossible. Lots of mixed groups, work crowds or people on dates.
Babes + Hunks four beers Definitely A1. Some very nice stylish women to look at.
Beer Standards four beers Not bad for a new bar, all things considered.
And the toilets? three beers Well, new pub means new clean toilets.
Overall four beers A good place for a few drinks and to pose.
