The
Old Stand
Exchequer Street, across from the International Bar.
Another old
Dublin pub, though renovated a few years ago (more wood) to bring it up
to a nice standard. It's a relatively small pub on one level. A varied
mix of people pop in here. Mostly a mature crowd heading for a drink after
work or before going to a restaurant. Serves very nice and reasonable
food during the day.

Fairly
quiet pub. Small groups or couples dominate. Serves very much as a
stepping stone pub. One drink and your gone, though that doesn't mean
it's bad. |

Yet
more wood. Black but bright. Unless you get a seat, it can be a bit
awkward. Standing is not a good idea. |

Good.
Good barman with good standards. |
And
the toilets? |
|
Small
and down a steep stairs which after a few drinks can cause a problem. |

|
A
nice place for a date or a pre/post dinner drink. |
