Porterhouse
Parliament
Street at the far end of Temple Bar
One of Dublin's
first brew pubs (opened in 1997) which brews its own range of beer. So
far that alone, it deserves a visit. A two story pub which also has a
nice restaurant upstairs.

Picks
up plenty of business at the weekend. Not sure whether it gets regulars
or not. Mostly tourists and people curious about the beer. The crowd
varies a great deal. |
Decor |

Lots
and lots of crisp, fresh and bright pine wood which just doesn't really
work. Don't ask me why. |

Not
much chance here. Mostly tourists here for a beer. |

An
interesting collection of draught and bottled beers from all sorts
of places. Some of their beers may be an acquired taste but worth
a try. And you can't beat those German beers. |
And
the toilets? |

Nice
and clean. |

Worth
a look for visitors and tourists curious about trying different beers.
Not a place I would go to regularly. Gone a bit noisy recently and
they've strangely gone for providing live music or loud background
music. Beer, people, it's about the bloody beer!! |
