Another
lively spot that because of its location a bit off the beaten track
in the Irish rag trade district. Is a bit on the small side though
so it can get busy fairly quick. |
Decor |

That
old style wooden pub is well gone at this stage, it seems. Lots of
chrome, modern lights. You know the modern cafe look. Hang on, it's
still a pub though. Has a nice upstairs balcony. |
Scoring |

Times
have changed in Dublin pubs. Scoring (with a few exceptions) doesn't
really happen anymore (or maybe I'm getting old). |

Certainly
attracting some good lookers but maybe that's because it's in the
fashion district. |
Beer
Standards |
|
Increasingly,
more pubs are introducing foreign beers. Erdinger, Warsteiner from
Germany, Budvar from the Czech Republic are examples. One thing struck
me in here is that very very few people were drinking stout or even
pints. |
And
the toilets? |

Nice,
new and clean. Hurrah! |

On
the edge of the latest pubs and probably gets its regulars. Nice spot
for meeting friends or for drinks before a dinner/show. Good for meeting
dates too. |
