Break for the Border
Johnson Place, behind the St.Stephen's Green Shopping Centre

B for the B used to be a top spot. Now it's dominated by hen and stag parties and is usually packed on Friday and Saturday. And yes, it's huge. It has a restaurant (Tex Mex) on the first floor, a main bar and dance floor on the ground floor and another bar/dance floor downstairs where a band plays from midnight. Currently has a cover charge of £5-£7 from 9pm or £8 after 11pm around the side. Formerly part of the O'Dwyer Brothers empire.

  RATING COMMENTS
Buzz Definitely lively at the weekend. Great if a big gang is out for the night and wants to make noise and have fun and shake your funky thing on the dance floor.
Decor Wild west style with loads of wood. Don't expect to sit down. This place is for mingling, standing and dancing.
Scoring Varies. Plenty of women around, but are usually in a large group. Persistence and a hard neck can pay off.
Babes + Hunks Women are a bit loud and inclined to have too many vodkas though that may be a plus for some By and large, women are fairly attractive
Beer Standards Awful. Overpriced slop. Stick to bottles though they are pricey too. Shorts are also an outrageous price.
And the toilets? Well kept.
Overall If you are celebrating something and have loads of friends, then B for the B is a good place to go. Scoring is limited and the beer is dreadful.
