Sinnotts
Bar
King Street. Just off Grafton Street beside the St.Stephen's
Green Shopping Centre.
Used to be
one of my favourite places. It had a great crowd and a great buzz. Still
has to a certain extent, but is just missing something. Obviously modelled
on 'Cheers' with an Irish flavour. Has a late licence and a DJ on Friday
and Saturday until 2am which can be handy. Cover charge on Saturday is
IR£4 from 9pm. Populated by mixed groups of over 25's.

Can
be very lively at the weekends. Door policy can be strict. However
can be a bit too packed and getting drink can be slow. Worth a visit
for mixed groups. Very popular now for watching sports events as it
has a large screen and several TV's. |

Wood,
wood, more wood. 'Cheers' style. |

Used
to be good about five years ago I met a girlfriend because she was
talking to Paul McGrath (legendary Irish footballer for those on Mars).
Now a bit limited. |

Merely
good without being outstanding. Nice. |
Beer

Owned
by the same people as Break for the
Border (plus loads of others) and must have a policy of serving crap
beer. Not cheap either. |
And
the toilets? |
|
Fine
considering the crowds. |
Overall |

Can
get just too crowded around the bar. Unless you're lucky to get a
corner for your gang, you'll be shoved out of it. |
