Turk's
Head
Parliament Street at the far end of the Temple Bar area
Big bouncy
and noisy pub. Been renovated recently and has turned into another superpub
with music and dancing downstairs. Attracts a fairly young crowd but seem
to have no problem spending money.

Lively
it certainly is. Would have similarities in terms of atmosphere and
clientele as Major Tom's. Whether that
is a good thing or bad thing is up to you. |
Decor |

Large
central bar, a huge back area and a downstairs 'dancfloor'. Wood too,
but not too much. |
Scoring |
|
A
bit of a pick up place. Most of the crowd is in their (very) early
20's. Lots of blokes and a fair sprinkling of women provide some options.
Well off students is the image I get for some reason. |

Not
bad. Plenty to look at, but it depends what you're after. A recent
visit made me feel old. Most of the punters were not over 23. |

Woeful
beer. No two ways about. They just slop it up at you. And charge you
for the privilege. |
And
the toilets? |
|
Downstairs,
roomy and relatively clean. |
Overall |
|
Noisy
and busy with a suspect crowd (for me anyway) but worth a look if
you want a late bar near Temple Bar. Gets a bit too packed, especially
downstairs. |
