O'Dwyer Brothers - Dublin's pub merchants

These two men (Des and Liam) have changed the face of Dublin's pub scene in the past five years or so. They've also made a serious amount of money out of it. Currently they have developed the following pubs/clubs:

Break for the Border
Sinnott's
O'Dwyer's of Mount Street
Major Tom's
Zanzibar
Cafe en Seine
Bad Bob's (soon to reopen as Lunasa in late September 2000)
Rathmines Plaza Hotel

All of these are now owned by the Capital Pubs plc (formerly Break for the Border Group plc) of which the O'Dwyer Bros are major shareholders.

Their pubs are generally very well run operations, clean, safe and most importantly, lively places to go. My only gripe is the prices they charge for drink and that the beer they serve is generally poor. Apart from that, they've produced some great pubs, the newest of which is Zanzibar, which is a hot spot and is rumoured to have cost well over a million pounds to develop.
