The
DART Crawl
The
DART is the local train system that runs (north/south) along the coast
of Dublin from Greystones to Malahide. The simple idea is to get on/off
the DART and stop off at pubs near the various stations. It is practically
impossible to do it from start to finish and drink alcohol. Though I could
be wrong...!
Here's an account from one hardy bunch of lads who do it every year.
"The
crawl itself starts in the Harbour Bar in Bray. We then work our way back
into the City centre stopping at pre-determined watering holes enroute.
We usually
stick to a quota of 12 pints over the course of the afternoon and evening
(we
start the drinking at around 2.45 in Bray, although last year we had a
crafty
one in the auld Dubliner before getting the Dart!) although some of us
are more
thirsty than others..."
And
they have a web site: http://homepage.eircom.net/~dartcrawl/
